Embedded bugs have a way of hiding until the code meets real hardware, and by then they are in the field, where they are expensive and embarrassing. Unit tests cannot catch them, and most CI setups cannot test real hardware at all.

We built a Raspberry-Pi-based test runner that flashes and exercises real hardware on every commit, right inside the pipeline. Integration bugs get caught automatically, before they ship, and the same rig doubles as an automated production test for units coming off the line. It is the kind of coverage most shops simply do not have.

Can you test against real hardware? +

What quality gates do you set up? +
