Real-time backend for an IoT fleet
The Spoores platform needed a backend that could take real-time data from a fleet of sensors over MQTT, store it, serve it to a mobile app and a live dashboard, and handle accounts and alerts, all without falling over when the device count grew.
We built it in Python with MQTT ingest, a Firebase NoSQL data store for live updates, authentication, and cloud deployment. It is the live backend behind my.spoores.com today, moving device data in real time and staying quietly out of the way, which is exactly what a good backend should do.
